How does parking work with Poppy cars at partner and airport parking lots?
Our partner and airport parking lots are equipped with license plate recognition technology. This means that when you drive a Poppy car, you won't need to obtain a parking ticket to enter or exit these parking areas. The barriers will automatically open upon recognizing the license plate of the Poppy car you're driving.
What should I do if the license plate recognition system does not work?
In the rare event that the automatic license plate recognition system fails to open the barrier for you, there's no need to worry. Here's what you can do:
- Press the ‘call’ button to get in touch with the parking staff.
- Inform them that you are driving a Poppy car. The parking employees are there to assist you and will manually open the barrier for your Poppy car.
This process ensures that, even if there are technical issues with the license plate recognition system, you can still access or leave the parking smoothly and without delay.
