- Immediate Action:
Your safety is paramount. If the accident is serious, first call the European emergency number 112 for immediate assistance. - Safety Measures:
If possible, move the vehicle to a safe location away from traffic. If this is not possible, please set up the warning triangle to alert oncoming vehicles. - Documentation:
If you are physically able to do so, document the accident scene thoroughly. Take clear photographs of the damage and the surrounding area. Also, fill out the European Accident Statement form with all relevant details of the incident. - Report to Poppy:
Contact Poppy as soon as possible by calling our call center. This allows us to start the support process immediately. - Roadside Assistance:
If the Poppy vehicle cannot be driven and needs towing, or you require roadside assistance, inform our call center about this. - Follow-up:
Within 48 hours of the accident, email a copy of the completed accident form and any photographs to 'hello@poppy.be'. This documentation is essential for the processing of your case.
