Can I add a second driver to my trip?

  • What is the 'Second Driver' feature? It lets you add a co-driver to your trip. Both drivers can unlock, pause, and end the trip, but the primary driver handles payments and passes. Both drivers need to have an active Poppy account.

  • How does it work? Start, pause, unlock and end the trip: your co-driver can do all of these, just like you!

  • Insurance: Both drivers are fully covered.

  • Payments: Only the primary driver takes care of payment and passes.

How to add a Second Driver:

  1. Be next to your co-driver. 🤝
  2. Select "Add driver" during your trip.
  3. Tap "Invite second driver."
  4. Your co-driver scans the QR code with their camera.

⚠️ Important information:

  • Once added, you can’t remove the co-driver.
  • Primary driver handles payments and passes.
  • Both drivers need an active Poppy account.
  • Both must have access to M or L tier vehicles (if applicable).
