There is a lot of confusion because of the automatic notification of the SEAT Ibiza shown when the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG, or natural gas) has run out. You will be asking to get to the nearest gas station to fill the CNG up.
Before you panic and take another car, first check that you can’t continue driving with the fuel (E10). The SEAT has two tanks: one for the CNG and one for the fuel (as shown in the image of this article). It drives first in the most ecological way, the natural gas. ♻️
As soon as the CNG is (almost) empty, you will receive the message that you have to fuel up. However, with a full fuel tank, you can still go for over 120km. You can see both tanks’ capacity on the dashboard.
The meter, on the left, is the CNG and the meter, on the right, is for the fuel. If you see that you can still drive for a sufficient amount of kilometers with the fuel, you can simply start or continue your trip. 💚
